We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Financial Accountant (m/f/d) for a direct placement on behalf of one of our clients. Our client, a rapidly growing private equity firm, operates internationally and manages various platforms in the chemical industry. The company employs over 7,000 people worldwide and generates annual revenue exceeding 4 billion euros.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Financial accounting responsibility for several group companies according to HGB and IFRS
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as well as monthly IFRS reporting
  • Organization, preparation, and support of year-end audits
  • Development and harmonization of local accounting records and closing processes
  • Implementation of accounting-related projects (e.g., spin-offs, system migrations)
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients, auditors, tax advisors, and external auditor

Job requirements

  • Completed commercial training and further qualification as a (international) financial accountant or a degree in business administration/economics with a focus on finance and accounting
  • Practical experience in financial reporting according to IFRS and HGB
  • Proficient in SAP R/3 or S4 HANA
  • Independent, goal-oriented work style with strong communication skills
  • Good English language skills are an advantage
